In this episode Andy, Shirley and Kayleigh discuss the first three parts of the final empire. This is Brandon Sanderson's first trilogy in the Mistborn series. Shirley and Andy have both read this series before, Kayleigh has not. So there is the benefit of looking at the book through the eyes of new and old readers (However no spoilers of things we have not read yet.) We delve into themes in the book such as power and religion and even manage to fit in a reference to the lion king. We review our feelings on the book and main characters and Kayleigh discuss her predictions for how the book and series may continue and end.
